Anna Catherine Zeik 98 of Bennett St. Bridgeport, died Easter Sunday April 24, 2011 at Heartland-Lansing Nursing Home. She was born October 8, 1912 in Lafferty, Ohio, a daughter of the late Martin and Anna Shuty Teliga. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church Bridgeport. In addition to her parents she was preceded ion death by two brothers Martin and Steve Taliga, and two sisters Helen Mack and Margaret Pabin. Anna is survived by three sons Andrew J. (Shirley) Zeik of St. Clairsville, David M. (Janet) Zeik of Martins Ferry, and John E. Zeik of New Concord, Ohio, a daughter Veronica (Bill) Kinyo of Rayland, nine grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Wednesday April 27, 2011 from 4-8 pm, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Bridgeport with Rev. John Mucha officiating. Wake service will be said Wednesday at 4:30 pm at the Funeral Home.
