Anne Markoski (nee Sovka), has accompanied the angels to our Lord on Saturday June 19, 2010. Anne had resided at Sunset Health Care Center since April 2009. Anne was born on April 29, 1920 in Stewartsville, Ohio and had lived in Dillonvale, Ohio. She had worked for many years at Stone & Thomas in Wheeling, W.Va. Her friends and most will remember Anne as an avid Bingo player. She enjoyed playing bingo with her friends and meeting new acquaintances along the way. Preceded in death by husband Felix Markoski, Mother Pauline Martinski, sister, Helen Martinski; and brothers: William Sovka, John and Frank Martinski. Anne is survived by her two loving sons Felix A. ?Fel? Markoski and wife Mary Ann of Sheffield Lake, Ohio, and Richard F. Markoski and his companion Caroline of LaGrange, Ohio; grandchildren: Richard (Renee'), Stacy (Brian), Joseph (Keri), and Janet (Kyle); great-grandchildren: Rhianna and Rebekah, Ashley, Brian, and Nicholas, Amaya, Justine, and Kevin, Jaeden and Owen. Other survivors include sisters: Pauline Ogrady and Margaret ?Maggie? Sowinski, and sister-in-law, Audrey Sovka and several nephews. Anne was a devoted Catholic, a Rosary Society member and a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Dillonvale, Ohio. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-7 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, Ohio, with a vigil service at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday June 23, 2010 at 11:30 AM at St. Adalbert Catholic Church with Monsignor John C. Kolesar as celebrant. Entombment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens mausoleum, Pleasant Grove, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Dillonvale.
