Annie R. (Torre) DiClemente, 74, of Martins Ferry, OH died suddenly Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born June 18, 1937 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Frank and Carmela (Trifilo) Torre. Annie retired from East Ohio Regional Hospital after 45 years of service. She was a graduate of St. John's Catholic High School. Annie was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Martins Ferry where she served as an Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Catholic Women's Club. She was also a member of the Spruce Twig and Mackey Community Center. Surviving are her husband Louis J. DiClemente, a son Mark DiClemente of Tarpon Springs, FL, her daughter-in-law Sandy Fitzgerald, grandsons Will and Ed DiClemente, and sisters Mary Gitto and Frances (Herman) Kaiser all of Martins Ferry. Friends will be received Thursday 12-4 and 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St. Martins Ferry. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Friday, Sept. 2, 2011 at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry with Rev. Tom Marut officiating. Burial follows in Mt Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling, WV. Rosary devotions will be recited at 3:00 pm followed by Christian Wake services at 7:30 pm all in the funeral home.
