Ansel J, McEndree, 60, of Quaker City, Ohio, died October 28, 2014 at his home. He was born April 24, 1954 in Barnesville, Ohio, son of the late Donald E. McEndree and Mary L. Kemp McEndree. A talented craftsman, he enjoyed working with his hands, creating many things around his home. Ansel also enjoyed country music. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lova Pierce. Ansel is survived by daughters, Shawna L. (Ken) Smigle, Shay N, (Derek) Price both of Bridgeport, Ohio; son, Brent W. McEndree of Holmesville, Ohio; granddaughter, Abby R. Smigle; sisters, Shirley Snyder of Bethesda, Ohio, Connie (Bob Tate) Taylor, Ramona (William) Swallie both of Barnesville, Ohio, Donna (Jim) Lechuga of Altus,, Oklahoma; brothers, Harry McEndree of St. Clairsville, Ohio, Sherman McEndree of Bethesda, Ohio, Carl (Nellie) McEndree of Senecaville, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Sandy D. McElroy of Holmesville, Ohio. Family and friends may visit, Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of service, beginning at 1 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home & Crematory, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio. Pastor Rodney West officiating. Interment will be private and at the convenience of Ansel's family.
