Monteleone, Anthony "Tony" D. 80 of Pleasant Grove, Dillonvale, died Wednesday May 7, 2013 at his home. He was born March 4, 1933 in Warwood, WV, a son of the late Carmelo and Erminia (Orsine) Monteleone. He was a retired employee of Nickles Bakery Martins Ferry, with 39 years of service; he attended Barton United Methodist Church, a US Veteran in the Army, a member of Colerain VFW post #8848, and the American Legion #38 Martins Ferry. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Frank Monteleone. Tony is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Ruth (Ayers) Monteleone, sisters Mary Carlier of Adena, Ann Monteleone of Martins Ferry, Elizabeth Marx of Cadiz, and Cathy (Mick) Zingo of Martins Ferry, a brother Carmelo "Jay" (Emma) Monteleone of Hopedale, also several nieces an nephews. Friends are invited to a celebration of Tony's life on Friday May 10, 2013 from 4-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside. Services will be held on Saturday at 11 am with Rev. Russel Johnston and Rev. Henry Mooney officiating, interment at Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove.
