Anthony T. Palombi Sr, 84, of Adena, OH passed away February 14, 2021 at Wheeling Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was born May 6, 1936, in Martins Ferry, OH, a son of the late Sante and Carmella (Vaccarino) Palombi.

Anthony retired from the Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Martins Ferry Plant after forty years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Colerain. He loved working with wood, leather, and stained glass. He also loved to travel with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Diana Mentz-Godfrey.

Anthony is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Marlene (Krajnyak) Palombi; children, Sheri (Joe) Rogers of Harrisville, Cindy (Mike) Husvar of St. Clairsville, Renee (Steve) Sova of Galloway, OH, Anthony (Britta) Palombi Jr. of Woodsfield, OH; siblings, Joseph Palombi of Columbus, OH, Anita Dober of Sistersville, WV; grandchildren, Chelsie Husvar, Matthew Sova, Vince Palombi, Bobby O'Donnell, Bethany Brobson, and Billy Brobson; four great-grandchildren; and nephews and nieces.

Friends will be received Thursday, February 18 from 4p.m. until 7p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home-Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St. Martins Ferry, OH 43935.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 19th at 10a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Colerain with Fr. William Cross officiating.

Entombment to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
