ANTHONY ?TONY? ZANN, 83, of Bridgeport, died Wednesday, March 4, 2010 at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry. He was born May 8, 1926 in Blaine, the son of the late George and Tekla ?Tillie? (Koval) Zann. Tony was a retired painter and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wolfhurst. He was an outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed bowling and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Margaret Zann; five brothers, Stanley, Joseph, John, Walter and Edward Zann; and two sisters, Frances Gayvont and Sophie Busic. Tony is survived by a son, Anthony Zann and his wife Sandy of Elkhart, IN; two daughters, Toni Jean Huntsman and her husband Michael of Madisonville, TN and Carol Lepic and her husband James ?Ron? of St. Clairsville; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; as well as a special friend, Cassie and all of her family. Visitation will be Saturday 6-8 pm and Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wolfhurst with Father John Mucha as celebrant. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery in St. Clairsville. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Bridgeport or Martins Ferry EMS.
