Obituary

Arthur K. Earlewine (Brother E), of Absalom Drive, Martins Ferry, OH went to be with Jesus, his Lord and Savior, on Friday the 4th of Feb. He was born at home in 1918 , Sand Hill, WV, the son of the late Clyde and Elizabeth Earlewine. His beloved wife, Bernice F. Smith Earlewine went home to be with Jesus in 1984. He was 86 years old, serving the Lord for over 40 years. Arthur graduated in the class of 1937 from Triadelphia, WV. An honorably discharged veteran of the US Army in 1945. He retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, Mingo, OH. He was a member of Trinity Assembly of God in Martins Ferry for over 40 years, where he served as a Board member and elder for many of those years, he was also a member of OVCC, Wheeling for 3 years. Brother E supported numerous missions, ministries and had a heart for youth. Surviving are a sister Betty Hendrickson of New Mexico, a brother Paul of Fl and a niece, Kathy Sloan of NV. In addition, he leaves his "Adopted in Heart Children", Bonnie and Phil Covington, Martins Ferry, grandchildren Allison, her husband Ken Balme, great granddaughters, Hannah and Makena Balme, Columbus. He was and always will be their beloved Dad & "Old Pappy". Members of the family will receive friends at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, Monday,Feb. 7, 2005 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, where services will be held immediately following. Officiating the service will be long time friends and Brothers in the Lord, Pastor Homer Bennett and Pastor Bill Frasnelli. Internment will be in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove. Any memorial contributions in his name, may be made to any foreign mission, ministry, or youth group of your choice.
