Arthur Louis "Louie" Spoon Sr., 64, formerly of Wheeling, died Tuesday March, 25, 2008 at the Villa Angela Care Center in Columbus, OH. He was born on September 29, 1944 in Barton, a son of the late Floyd and Thelma Smith Spoon. He was a warehouse worker for Stone & Thomas in Wheeling. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Jenny Spoon and two brothers, Alfred and Jerry Spoon. Louie is survived by a son, Arthur Spoon Jr. of Warwood WV; three sisters, Gladys Dolak of St Clairsville, Frances Shaffer of Blaine and Mary Kabala of Bellaire; two brothers, Emery Spoon of Witchata, KS and Willard Spoon of Columbus, OH. Funeral services for Louie were private, held at the convenience of the family and directed by the Wilson Funeral Home, Brookside.
