Arthur C. Woods 88 of Mt. Pleasant died Wednesday December 15, 2010 in Liza's Place Valley Hospice South Wheeling. He was born August 12, 1922 in Glenn Robins Ohio, a son of the late William McKinley and Hazel Marie Snodgrass Woods. He was a retired employee of the Titanium Metals Toronto, a member of the Friends Church Mt. Pleasant, a Veteran of WWII in the US Army/ Air Force, and a member of the American Legion McCook Post #529 Dillonvale. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Jane Jackson Woods in 1982, three brothers Pete, Bud, and Lester Woods, a sister Hazel Vitchner. Woody is survived by two sons Jerry L. Woods of Bedford Pa. and Thomas M. Woods of Dillonvale, twin daughters, Donna K. Bess and her husband William of Rayland, and Dena R. White and her husband Gary of Dorcas WV, ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 154 Second St. Dillonvale Friday December 17, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 where services will be held Saturday at 11 am with Pastor Wayne Ickes officiating. Interment in Short Creek Cemetery Mt.
