Ashley Ann Smith (aka: Asher Tatum), 17 of Martins Ferry passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023, at East Ohio Regional Hospital.  She was born September 14, 2005, the daughter of Amy Renzler and Robert Wiley Smith.

Ashley was a senior at Bridgeport High School.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather; Craig Renzler and paternal grandfathers; Roy B. Mussard,  Robert Smith and niece Kyra Leanne Renzler.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother; Amy Renzler, father; Robert W. Smith, brother; John (Jennifer) Renzler, sisters; Sierra Nicole Smith, Catherine Marie Smith, Kaitlyn Morgan Powell, grandmothers; Roberta A. Renzler, Catherine M. Mussard, nieces; Lexi Brianne Renzler and future Madison Rose Mitchell arriving soon, as well as many cousins, friends, and extended family members.

A celebration of Life will take place at the convenience of the family.  Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport, Ohio 43912 is assisting the family.
