Audrey A. (Hudock) Finney, 82, of Colerain-Mt. Pleasant Rd., Dillonvale, OH died Monday, Jan. 14, 2008 at Sunset Health Center, Harrisville, OH. She was born May 10, 1925 in Cleveland, OH a daughter of the late John and Helen (Jandura) Hudock. She was a retired Kindergarten Teacher for the Buckeye Local School District. Audrey was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church and the Catholic Women Club of Colerain, OH, and the State Teachers Association. She was secretary of the Deanery of the Catholic Diocese of Steubenville, and past president of the Colerain Senior Citizen Center. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Wayne Finney. Surviving are her son Doug W. Finney of Smithfield, OH, five daughters Becky (Terry) Harris of Zanesville, OH, Debby (Frank) Nameth of Ramsey, OH, and Jody (Gene) Bartek, Kim (Tim) Ochsenbine and Darcy (Bob) Stidd all of Mt. Pleasant, OH, a brother Thomas (Adalaide) Hudock of Gurney, IL, fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday 2 - 7 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Friends will then be received Friday, Jan. 18, 2008 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Colerain, from 10:00 am until time of the Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 11:00 am with Msgr. John Kolesar the celebrant. Burial follows at Olive Branch Cemetery, Harrisville, OH. Wake services will be held Thursday at 6:30 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Buckeye Local West Elementary School, 243 N. Mill St., Adena, Oh 43901.
