B. Amelia "Boots" Michaels, 93, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, formerly of Yorkville, OH died Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at her residence. She was born July 4, 1913 in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late Nicholas and Martha (Mamula) Mikasinovich. Boots was a retired teacher of History and English for Steubenville High School and a member of Holy Resurrection Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church of Steubenville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Michael Michaels and four sisters Anne Rebb, Donna Michaels, Mildred Michaels, and Mary Michaels. Surviving are a niece Carole (Jack) Lane of Marsing, ID, two great nieces Sharon (Kylan) Cooper of Marsing, ID and Denise Lane of Portland, OR, and several great great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Tuesday, June 5, 2007 from 11 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH with Rev. F. Rade Merick officiating.
