Barbara Ann Ballint 70 went to be with her husband on November 7, 2010. A resident of Barton she died at her home. She was born August 25, 1940 in Wheeling. A daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Fisher Hawkins. She was a retired Pediatric Nurse at Martins Ferry Hospital, and the Touch Tone Care Unit at Martins Ferry, a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, the Catholic Women's Club, she was a avid bingo player. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Michael ?Mike? Ballint. Surviving are two sons Scott Ballint (Barb) of Martins Ferry, and Michael Ballint (Debbie) of Mozart, three daughters Debbie Thomas (Veral) of Canal Winchester, Anna Romine (Scott) of Round Hill Va. and Christine McCardle (Carl) of Wheeling, 14 grandchildren Chelsea Edwards, Logan and Dylan Ballint, Kevin and Josh Schramm, Alex, Isaac, Sam, and Maggie Thomas, Kyle Romine, Jessica, Alysa, Elric Krahel, and Carlie McCardle, three great grandchildren, a brother Richard Hawkins (Karen) of Rooney's Point WV, two sisters Nancy Riser (Robert) and Linda Stocke (Chuck) both of Elm Grove. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Wednesday November 10, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8, and then on Thursday at Frances Cabrini Catholic Church from 10 am till time of Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 11 with Rev Dale Tornes officiating. Scripture wake will be recited Wednesday at 3:30 at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove.
