Barbara Ann Hess, 79, of New Bern, NC and formerly of Bridgeport, OH, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. Barbara was born November 23, 1942, to the late, William and Carolyn Hamilton.

After graduation from Bridgeport High School in 1962 she was employed for 20 years at Bobbie Brooks. Then she worked at EORH in Martins Ferry in the food service department, until her retirement.

Barbara enjoyed quilting and baking cookies. She will be sadly missed by her remaining family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hess; brothers, Ronald, and Clyde Hamilton.

Surviving are her sisters, Donna Meager, Sondra Yeager; brothers, Jack and John Hamilton, several nieces, nephews, and close friends.

A memorial visitation will be Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 11am to 1pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family in Greenwood Cemetery, 1526 National Rd., Wheeling, WV.

The family will be having a luncheon following the memorial visitation in Kirkwood Heights at the Hamilton residence all are welcome.
