Barbara Jo Knight, 84, of Columbus, died Wednesday, November 20, 2024, in Country Club Retirement Center. She was born on January 1, 1940, in Bellaire, a daughter of the late Joseph and Agatha (Freeman) Moore. Barbara supported the Armed Services by being involved in the USO, retired from the IRS in 2005, enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and playing solitaire and mahjong.

She is survived by her son, Danny Knight; a brother, Joseph (Annette) Moore; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved grand dog, Ellie.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Annabelle (George) Morris; Edith (Bill) McKelvey; and Juanita Moore; and three nephews, Dennis, and Wesley Morris; and Billy McKelvey.

Friends may call Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 2-5 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. Where a memorial service will be held at 4:30 with Pastor James Hoff officiating.
