Barbara Rae (Elza) Marchani, 66, of Martins Ferry, OH, formerly of Moundsville, WV, passed away January 1, 2021 at Wheeling Hospital.

She was born May 20, 1954 in Glendale, WV, a daughter of the late John W. and Helen (Meeker) Elza.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Richard Marchani and daughter, Amanda 'Mandy' Rose (Chris) Bruno, of Benwood, WV, two grandchildren, Bella and Vincent; a brother Richard G. (Cindy) Elza of Moundsville, WV.; a niece Melissa (Joshua) Norris of Moundville, WV; special friends, Leaona Kellwood and Troy Elswick of Martins Ferry, OH

Barbara was a social worker for the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) in Moundsville, WV. and a member of the First Baptist Church in Martins Ferry. She enjoyed traveling, crafting, cooking and watching football with her husband, Richard. Barbara and Richard were simply soulmates.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
