Barbara Ann McCardle, 58, of Martins Ferry, OH passed away on May 25, 2023, at Wheeling Hospital.  She was born on March 4, 1965, to Martha (Garbark) Schrimp and the late William Schrimp.

Barbara was a member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Warwood and loved reading her bible daily.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son Thomas McCardle Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Thomas McCardle of Martins Ferry; her mother, Martha (Garbark) Schrimp, children, David (Jenn) McCardle and Dakota McCardle, both of Martins Ferry; grandchildren, Brooklynn and Nico McCardle; a brother, Robert Schrimp of Warwood; two sisters, Joan (Jeff) Harvath of Elm Grove, Lisa (Chris) Kranske of Warwood; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, from 4-8pm at the Wilson Funeral Home-Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, Ohio 43935.  The funeral service will be at 6pm with Pastor Tom Redford.
