Barbara A. (Taylor) Cruise, 72, of N. Eighth St., Martins Ferry, OH died Sat., Oct. 9, 2004 at home. She was born Oct. 1, 1932 in Friendly, WV a daughter of the late Clarence A. and Norma (Haught) Taylor. She was retired from Ohio Valley Medical Center and a Methodist. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Carl W. Cruise, Sr. a son William Cruise, a daughter Stephanie Cruise, two brothers Charles and Richard Taylor, and two sisters Nine Burch and Dorothy Taylor. Surviving are three sons Carl W. Cruise, Jr. of Jacobsburg, Robert (Pamela) Cruise of Alledonia, and Terry (Sharon) Cruise of Belmont, three daughters Barbara (Phillip) Evers of Cincinnati, Brenda (Johnny) Rushman of Bellaire, and Tina Kemp of Martins Ferry, three sisters Carol (Russell) Williams of Shadyside, Pat Rosenberg of Easton, PA, and Wilma Headley of Millersburg, OH, sixteen grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren. Friends will be received Mon. 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Tue., Oct. 12, 2004 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Joseph Sanders officiating. Burial follows in Greenwood Cemetery, Bellaire. Memorial contributions may be made to Tender Loving Care Hospice, 1231 Warwood Ave., Wheeling, WV 26003.
