Barbara Ann Turner, 51, passed away October 26, 2016 at East Ohio Regional Hospital. She was born May 31, 1965, in St. Petersburg, Fl., a daughter of Emma Whitlatch and the late Robert McLemore. She was employed as a cook at Cumberland Pointe. In addition to her father, Barbara was preceded in death by her step-father, Edward Mitchem, first husband, Danny Powell Sr. and her brother, Edward Mitchem. She is survived by her loving husband, David Turner, Jr., mother, Emma Whitlatch of Wheeling, WV, children; David (Erica) Powell of Wheeling, Danny Powell Jr. of Bellaire, OH., Kristian (Robert) Boone of Wheeling, and David A. Turner III of Martins Ferry, OH; brothers, Bobby (Wendy) Mitchem of Brilliant, OH, Robert (Tracy) McLemore of Dunedin, FL, Joseph (Paula) McLemore of Dunedin, FL; sister, Melanie (Earnie) Mitchem of Wheeling; ten grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday, October 30, from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH 43912 where funeral services will be held October 31, at 12pm with Reverend James Agnew officiating. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling WV.
