Barbara Jean Smith 89 of Mingo Junction passed away Wednesday January 6, 2021 at The Laurels of Steubenville. She was born June 14, 1931 in Mingo Junction, a daughter of the late Paul and Barbara (Rocky) Voitko. She was a retired ward secretary for St. John's Hospital, and a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Paul Smith, and a brother Paul Voitko. Barbara is survived by a son John Smith of Martins Ferry, a sister Rita Miller of Mingo, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Because of the COVID 19 virus private services will be held at the convenience of the family, and interment will be at Oakland Cemetery Mingo Junction.
