Barbara Ellen Owens, 84, of Bridgeport, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025 in Reynolds Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 11, 1941, in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Jaquay) Willis. Barbara was a member of the Harbor of Hope Church.

Barbara is survived by a sister, Debbie Orphanides; a brother, Ronald Willis; and several grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert M. Owens in 2020; two sons, Denver Starcher and David Biggs; two brothers, Danny and Thomas Willis; and two sisters, Mary Ward and Nancy Reitmire.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside.  Burial will be in The Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cannonsburg, PA at a later date.
