Beatrice M. "Bea" (Kyser) Heaton, 87, of Bridgeport, OH died Sunday, March 16, 2014 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born December 31, 1926 in Martins Ferry daughter of the late John and Anna Mae (Milbert) Kyser. Bea was a 75 year member of the First Christian Church of Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers; William and Louis Kyser and sisters; Mary Baxter and Charlotte Stead. Surviving are her husband of 65 years Francis "Dutch" Heaton, her son, Garth (Nancy) Heaton of St. Clairsville, OH, her daughter, Pam (Fred) Wetzel of Wheeling, WV, sisters; Anna Mae Johnson of Bridgeport and Margaret Rico of Colerain, OH, grandchildren; Michael (Kelli) Wetzel and Amy (Rick) Delesk both of Wheeling and Rebecca (J. R.) Hall of Venetia, PA, five great-grandchildren; Rhyder, Lily, Liam, Olivia, and Addyson and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Tuesday, 2-8 pm at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 11:00 am with Minister Rod Kasler officiating.
