Beatrice M. "Bea" (Wilson) Gross, 93, formerly of N. 7th St., Martins Ferry, OH, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007 at SpringMeade Healthcare Center, Tipp City, OH. She was born Sept. 27, 1913 in Flushing, OH, a daughter of the late Wilbur and Florence (Evans) Wilson. Bea retired along with her husband from the former John Gross & Sons Grocery Store on N. Zane Hwy., Martins Ferry. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church of Martins Ferry and a longtime volunteer at East Ohio Regional Hospital. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Gross, a daughter Nancy Pavlik, and a brother Glen Wilson. Surviving are a daughter Karen S. Smeal of Tipp City, OH, a sister Lydia Hoyt of Shelton, CT, two granddaughters Kristi (Ed) Feldmann of Lebanon, OH and Karri (Art) Hathaway of Apollo Beach, FL, and five great grandchildren. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH, where services will be held Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007 at 10:30 AM with Rev. William O. Webster officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Johns Lutheran Church, 40 N.
