Benjamin D. "Ben" Thomas, 49, of Worley Ave., Bridgeport, OH, died Sunday, Apr. 25, 2010 at the home of his brother. He was born Sept. 20, 1960 in Wheeling, WV a son of the late Russell and Dorothy (Riggs) Thomas. Ben was a former truck driver for Auto Zone Auto Parts Co. and a Christian. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters Bonita Hatcher and Belinda Meyers. Surviving are his children Shannon Thomas and Todd Taylor, two brothers Bill (Trudy) Thomas and Bob (fiancé Cindy Hicks) Thomas, two sisters Marlene (Randy) Stobbs and Darlene Phillip, his former wife Lori (Sykes) Thomas, and his beloved friends Cheri Krupa and Willie & Destiny Lichwa. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH.
