Bentley E. Jackson, 74, of S. Zane Hwy., Martins Ferry, OH died Mon., Nov. 20, 2006 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. He was born May 21, 1932 in Powhatan Point, OH a son of the late Delbert and Cora (Palmer) Jackson. He was a retired from the Carpenters Local #3 and Laborer Local #1149. Bentley was a member of the Elks Lodge # 895 and Redman Club Tribe #75 both of Martins Ferry and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, and two sisters. Surviving are his finance Betty E. (Weatherson) Dolenc of Martins Ferry, two daughters, two brothers, three sisters, and eight grandchildren. Friends will be received Fri., Nov. 24, 2006 from 11:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM with Pastor Joe Ellis officiating at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH.
