Bernard J. A. Miller, Sr. 101, of the Laurels, N. High St., Worthington, OH, formerly of 3rd St., Aetnaville, OH died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, OH. He was born Feb. 6, 1906 in Bridgeport, OH the son of the late Edward and Rose (Cook) Miller. He retired from the Yorkville Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. Bernard was a member of the Church of God of Brookside, OH and a veteran of the US Navy WWII. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary (Oancea) Miller, Dec. 7, 2007, and two sisters Laura Harris and Charlotte Miller. Surviving are a son Bernie (Linda) Miller of Powell, OH, a daughter Debbie Miller of Dublin, OH, a sister Connie (Roy) Riethmiller of Martins Ferry, and a granddaughter Lindsay Miller. Family and friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Friday, Jan. 11, 2008 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Roland Boggs officiating.
