Bernard C. Donahue Bernard C. "Bud" Donahue, 71, of S. Zane Hwy., Martins Ferry, OH died Mon., Apr. 22, 2002 at home. He was born Sept. 21, 1930 in Bellaire a son of the late William and Florence Adams Donahue. He was employed as a caregiver with Doctor's Homemaker Services, was the custodian of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry, and was retired from the Yorkville plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. Bud was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry, a graduate of St. John's Central Catholic School, and a veteran of the US Army Korean War. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Anna Marie Krajnyak Donahue and two brothers James and William Donahue. Surviving are four sons Keith L. "Skip" Donahue and his wife Melanie; Kevin L. Donahue and his wife Stacey; and Bernie J. Donahue and his wife Christine all of Martins Ferry; Kenneth L. Donahue and his wife Dorothea of Raleigh, NC, two daughters Karen Probst and her husband Chuck, Jr. of Colerain and Kathy Probst and her husband Brian of Martins Ferry, six brothers Mike, Tom, Gerald "Jerry", Jack, Harold "Buzz", and Dick Donahue; six sisters Dorothy Tedeschi, Cheryl Boston, Paula St. John, Janie Vasey, Sandy Bass, and Betty Cope; twelve grandchildren Amber, Candace, Ashley, Jessie, Brennan, Mark, Tyler, Kati, Patrick, Colin, Kevin, and Nikki; a great grandchild Johnathan, and a special friend Eileen Taylor of Wheeling, WV. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH Wed. 7-9 PM and Thur. 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Fri. at 10:00 AM with Rev. Thomas Magary officiating. Burial follows in St. Mary's Cemetery, Martins Ferry with full military graveside honors by the Belmont Co. Council of the American Legion. Rosary devotions will be held Thur. at 3:00 PM followed by Wake services at 7:30 PM both in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Marys SMC 2000 Fund.
