Bernard Joseph "Fritz" Fristick, 73, of Mingo Junction, died Saturday October 10, 2009 at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, Oh. He was born April 9, 1936 in Mingo Junction, Oh, the son of the late John P. and Anna (Lesko) Fristick. Bernard was a retired steelworker from Weirton Steel. He also served in the US Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a previous wife Suda Fristick; the mother of his children Barbara I. (Billcheck) Fristick; two brothers, Lawrence and John Fristick; three sisters, Theresa Wade, Helen Gianjulio, and Irene Chalfant. Bernard is survived by his wife Debra L. Fristick; two sons, Jeffrey Fristick, of Watertown, Ny., Gregory Fristick and his wife Brandy of Mingo Junction; a daughter Angela Stewart and her husband Darren of Mingo Junction; a sister Rose Zorne and her husband Carl of Las Vegas, Nv; and seven grandchildren, Ashley, Jennifer, Destiny, Skylar, Chloe, Ethan, and Shayla. Visitation will be on Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Blaschalk-Wilson Funeral Home, 115 Union Avenue, Mingo Junction, where services will be held on Thursday at 10 am with Fr. James Dunfee officiating. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Steubenville, Oh.
