Bernice E. "Ibby" (Felton) Elliott Heil, 90, formerly of Euclid Ave., Martins Ferry, OH died Mon., Jun. 27, 2005 at Country View Assisted Living, Lore City, OH. She was born Jan. 4, 1915 in Salineville, OH a daughter of the late Harry and Lucy (Thomas) Felton. She was a manager at the former Strabley's Market, Tiltonsville, OH, a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church, Martins Ferry, and formerly was very active at Tiltonsville U. Methodist Church. She was also a member of Lilac Twig of East Ohio Regional Hospital and a volunteer at Peterson Rehabilitation Hospital, Wheeling, WV. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers Chuck, George and Conard Felton, and three sisters Beatrice Strabley, Edna McLean, and Lily LaRue. Surviving are her husband Gene "Ike" Heil, two sons James (Mary Ann) Elliott and Thomas Elliott both of Wellsville, OH, five daughters Ruth Hepp of Columbiana, OH, Jackie (Peter) Garbutt of Orlando, FL, Becky (Lenny) Piko of Wintersville, OH, Cindy (Joe) Starr of Lore City, OH and Marsha (Mark) Cunningham of Lewisburg, WV, a brother Raymond Felton of Malvern, OH, two sisters Jean Boesch of Austintown, OH and Mary Yocum of Toronto, OH, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Friends will be received Wed., 4 - 9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Thur., Jun. 30, 2005 at 11:00 AM with Rev. William O. Webster and Pastor Scott Walsh officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH.
