Bernice Ann Smith 71, of Hartford WV, died Wednesday March 2, 2011 with her family by her side. She was born April 25, 1939 in Mason County WV, a daughter of the late Delmas and Genevieve "Tweet" Powell Kearns. She was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church in Gibbstown WV. In addition to her parents she was preceded ion death by her husband Herbert Smith in 1986, and a brother Harry Kearns. Bernice is survived by a son Tim (Anna) Smith of Bridgeport, a daughter Debbie (Don) Hysell of Rutland OH., two brothers Charlie (Rosa Lee) Kearns, and Gerald (Emma Lee) Kearns, both of New Haven WV., four grandchildren Timmy and Ryan Smith, Don (Joy) Hysell and Lindsay Hysell. Friends will be received at the Foglesong-Tucker Funeral Home 2nd and Pomeroy St. Mason WV, Saturday March 5, 2011 from 12 noon till time of service at 1 pm. Interment in Zerkle Cemetery Letart WV.
