Bertha Geraldine Gibeaut, 88, of Bannock, Ohio, died at her home, Sunday, May 24, 2015. She was born October 6, 1926 in Malaga, Ohio, daughter of the late Walter R. Waggle and Sarah Elizabeth Sprouse Waggle. She was a member of Bannock United Methodist Church. She loved flowers, upholstering, and was very talented with a variety of crafts. A loving, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she touched the lives of many. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Kenneth Gibeaut; grandson, John Hanning; brother, John Waggle; and sisters, Polly Waggle, Mary Poulus, and Ruby Scott. Bertha is survived by her daughter, Gina Hanning of Bannock, Ohio; sons, William (Kathleen) Gibeaut, Jr. of Morristown, Ohio, John (Yvonne) Gibeaut of Bannock, Ohio; grandchildren, John, Sarah, Matthew, Eric; one great- grandchild; one great-great grandchild; brothers, Bob (Claudetta) Waggle, Gary Waggle, and Charles Waggle. Honoring Bertha's wishes, a private Graveside Service and Interment will take place on Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, Ohio. Pastor David Powell officiating.
