Kendrach, Bertha, 99, of Mingo Junction, Ohio, died Saturday February 14, 2009. She was born in Austria, Hungary on February 8, 1910, a daughter of the late John and Anna Farkas Kendrach. Bertha was a Registered Nurse; a U.S. Army Veteran; a retired employee of St. Johns Hospital; and a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Appleby. Bertha is survived by a brother, Michael Kendrach and a niece Patricia Chapman and her husband Marion of Florida. Friends will be received Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Blaschalk - Wilson Funeral Home, 115 Union Avenue, Mingo Junction, Ohio where parastasis service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Service of Divine Liturgy will be held Tuesday February 17, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, 207 Standard Street, Mingo Junction, with Father James Atkins, officiating.
