Bessie M. Barrett Bessie M. (Gray) Barrett, 91, formerly of Freeport, OH died Wed., Dec. 10, 2003 in Martins Ferry, OH. Bessie is retired from Baker's Grocery Store of Freeport. She was preceded in death by her parents John E. and Mary Jane Gray, her husband Emerson Barrett, her daughter Florence M. McCardle, a grandson Steven McCardle, and several brothers and sisters. Surviving are a grandson Michael (Alice) McCardle of Wheeling, WV. There will be no visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
