Beth M. (Schaal) Mullen, 48 , of Marietta, OH, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH and Holloway, OH died Thursday, Apr. 17, 2008 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born April 25, 1959 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Arthur L. and Maralyn A. (Mann) Schaal. She was an employee of Wal-Mart of Marietta and a member of the Williamstown Church of Christ, Williamstown, WV. Surviving are her husband James R. Mullen, a son Tim (Amy) Mullen of Cape Cod, MA, two daughters Amy (Jamie) Francis and Ashley (Cory) Thomas both of Marietta, three brothers Tom Schaal of Rayland, OH, Dale (Donna) Schaal and David (Valerie) Schaal both of Martins Ferry, a sister Diane (Chuck) Pritchard of Washington, PA., and four grandsons Scott Thomas, and Casey, Conor and Caden Francis. Friends will be received Saturday, 2-4 & 6-9 pm at the McClure - Schafer - Lankford Funeral Home, 314 Fourth St., Marietta, OH. Friends will then be received Sunday, 12-3 & 6-9 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be Monday, Apr. 21, 2008 at 11:30 am with Minister David Powers officiating.
