Betsy A. (Reynard) Smith Spoon, 80 formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Mon., Dec. 11, 2006 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born Nov. 22, 1926 in Newark, OH a daughter of the late Paul and Virginia (Williams) Reynard. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother William and a sister Genevieve. Surviving are a daughter Debra A. Spoon Dawes of Mt. Pleasant, OH, three sons Robert (Rena) Smith, of Pasadena, CA, Thomas (Gerrie) Smith of Orlando, FL and James (Joyce) Spoon, Jr. of Amsterdam, OH, a brother Paul "Bob" (Lila) Reynard of Kalamazoo, MI, twelve grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren. Friends will be received Wed.,2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Thurs., Dec. 14, 2006 at 11:00 AM with Rev.
