Bette R. Kubic 63 of Crescent Road St. Clairsville lost her battle with Parkinson's disease on July 6th 2012 at her home. She was born November 13, 1948 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Herman F. and Marcella (Marquart) Bartsch. She was retired from the St. Clairsville Public Library, and a member of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church Colerain, and her volunteer activities included Girl Scouts of America Martins Ferry Softball League, and St. Vincent DePaul Church. Bettie is survived by her loving husband of 39 years Stephen Kubic, her daughter Kelly (Jamie) Killinger of Columbus, and her two cherished grandchildren, Samuel, and Elenore, a brother Thomas W Bartsch of Morgantown, and a sister Nancy Vapner of Wheeling, also several nieces and nephews. Mass of memorial celebration will be held in her honor on Monday July 9, 2012 at 11 am at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church Colerain with Fr. Dale Tornes officiating, interment will be at Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove at a later date. Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside assisting the family.
