BETTIE L. MANUKIN, 71, of Blaine, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born July 17, 1937 in Barton, the daughter of the late Frank and Julia (Kunn) Horvath. She was a member of the Sunrise Full Gospel Pentecostal Church in Stewartsville and had retired from WalMart in St. Clairsville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers Frank and Albert Horvath and two sisters Helen Matthews and Kay Clifford. Bettie is survived by her husband Paul Manukin, Sr.; two sons Paul Jr. and his wife Peggy of Blaine and Jeff and his wife Renee of Wheeling; a daughter Penny Faldowski and her husband Doug of Harrisville; five brothers James Horvath of Glen Robbins, Ronald of Barton, Richard and Jack both of Florida and Robert of Lansing, WV; a sister Dorothy Shrieve of Barton; seven grandchildren and a great granddaughter. Visitation will be Friday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 pm with Reverend Gerald Blon officiating.
