Obituary

Muklewicz, Bettie Lou, ""Elizabeth"", 83, of Bellaire, died Wednesday September 2, 2009 at Shadyside Care Center. She was born in Bellaire on January 12, 1926, a daughter of the late Lester S. and Blanche (Anuskewic) Evans. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Bellaire. She was a former employee of Bobbie Brooks and the Owner/Operator of Spot Tavern in Bellaire. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Muklewicz, a brother Lester Evans, and a great granddaughter Oliva Goodson. Bettie is survived by a son, Walter Muklewicz and his wife Lucy of St. Clairsville, three daughters; Susan Willis and her husband Larry of Salisbury, NC, Karen Flanery of Youngstown, Elizabeth DelVecchio of Bellaire, a brother Wilford Evans and his wife Dee of Ft. Myers, FL, eight grandchildren, 18 great grand children and a close companion Alvin ""Pie"" Walton. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Friday at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside. Mass of Christian Burial at the St. John Catholic Church in Bellaire will be celebrated at 9:30 am on Saturday with Monsignor Gene Mullett, as celebrant. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry. Memorial contributions may be made in Bettie's name to Shadyside Care Center.
