Betty K. Barzan 79, of Dillonvale, died Monday March 21, 2011 at Liza's Place Valley Hospice South Wheeling. She was born March 28, 1931 in Dillonvale, a daughter of the late Arthur E. and Ruth Murray Barzan. She was a retired cook for Buckeye Local School District, a member of the First Christian Church Martins Ferry, and a long time employee of Patsy's Place Dillonvale. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Stanley Blazeski, and her second husband John Briggs, also a sister Margaret Yocum. Betty is survived by two sons Michael (Christine) Blazeski of Dillonvale, and Robert (Barbara) Blazeski of Harrisville, a daughter Susanne Brauner of Westerville, a sister Mary Stock of Wheeling, seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. According to Betty's wishes private service will be held at the convenience of the family, interment in Upland Heights Cemetery Yorkville.
