Betty Louise Mitchell, 82, of Martins Ferry, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021 in Park Health, St. Clairsville.  She was born on June 25, 1938 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Carl and Martha (Winzenreid) Bluthardt.

She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Brookside and The Order of the Eastern Star and enjoyed gardening and shopping.

Betty is survived by 3 brothers, Earnest, John and Thomas Bluthardt; a sister, Audrey Bluthardt and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Paul Mitchell in 2008.

Friends may call Tuesday from 11-1 in the Wilson Funeral Home, Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 pm in the funeral home with Reverend Nancy Destefano officiating.  Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
