Betty L. Nagy, 71, of Clinton St., Martins Ferry, OH died Sun., Mar. 27, 2005 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, OH. She was born Dec. 12, 1933 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Wilbur R. "Dutch" Geis and Helen W. (Molden) Geis. She was retired as Asst. Mgr. of the Jewelry Dept. of the former Big Wheel and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Donald Clouse. Surviving are her husband Leo J. Nagy, a son Leo D. Nagy of Martins Ferry, a daughter Stacey A. (Robert) Clemens of Martins Ferry, six grandchildren Jason and Melanie Nagy, Jeff, Jason, and Nicole Clemens, and Robert Clemens, III, four great grandchildren Haley and Alexis Clemens, Damara Long, and Jaden Nagy, and a special friend Rose Pugh. Friends will be received Wed., 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Thurs., Mar. 31, 2005 at 10:00 AM at St. Marys Catholic Church, Martins Ferry with Rev. Thomas Magary officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Wake services will be held Wed. at 7:30 PM in the funeral home.
