Obituary

Betty DuJardin, 83, of Wheeling; formerly of Martins Ferry, died Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at Peterson Rehabilitation and Geriatric Center in Wheeling. She was born October 26, 1925 in Wheeling, the daughter of the late Leo and Evelyn (Eaglen) Ryan Schneller. Betty was a retired receptionist at OVMC and was head of recreational therapy at Peterson Hospital. She was a member of the Fourth Street United Methodist Church in Wheeling and was a Pocahontas at the Martins Ferry Redman's Club as well as Past Pocahontas of State of Ohio. In addition to his parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Frederick Kloetzer; a son Robert Kloetzer and a son in-law Robert Knicely. Betty is survived by her husband William DuJardin of Martins Ferry; a son David Kloetzer and his wife Sue of Martins Ferry; two daughters Linda Knicely of Wheeling and Janet Sandrick and her husband Robert of Wheeling;; 7 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday from 11 am until the time of the funeral services at 1 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. Interment will follow at Halcyon Hills Cemetery in Sherrard, WV.
