Betty Jane (Francis) Kunze, 83 of Martins Ferry passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Wheeling Hospital. She was born November 8, 1938, in Moundsville, WV the daughter of the late Clifford and Lucille (Lutz) Francis.

Jane was a member of the First Baptist Church in Martins Ferry and actively participated in church activities.

She was the owner of Jane's Wallcovering Services, an LPN, and the held the position as Head of Surgical Technician Department of Wheeling Hospital. She was a member of the American Legion Bowling League in Martins Ferry. Jane's most important job she held was being a mother to her children and loving wife to Ronald. Jane was known for her baking and loved making crafts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years Ronald G. Kunze, Sr brother Charles Francis and her infant sister.

Jane is survived by her children; Brian (Lisa) Kunze of Moundsville, Greg (Suzy) Riggs of Moundsville and daughter Rhonda (Sean) Malloy of Bridgeport, brothers; Robert "Bob" Francis, Harold (Jean) Francis, Bill (Mary) Francis, Glen (Sally) Francis, Melvin, and Justin Francis, 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild complete her family.

Family and friends will be received Friday, March 4, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road Brookside and Funeral service on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 11am with Pastor Larry Lewis officiating. Interment will be at the Holly Memorial Garden, Pleasant Grove. A Memorial Veterans service will be conducted by the Belmont County Veterans Association in honor of Betty's husband Ronald prior to her committal service.
