Betty J. (Harding) Tracy, 95, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Country Club Retirement Center, Bellaire, OH. She was born September 19, 1921 in Bridgeport, OH a daughter of the late Walter R. and Elizabeth L. (Woods) Harding.

She was retired from the former Keller Glove Company and was a member of the First United Methodist Church both of Martins Ferry.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Harry E. Tracy, Sr., her daughter, Becky Cottello, brothers; Paul, Walter, Lawrence, Sherwood, Frank, Oliver, Leroy and Willard Harding and sisters; Margaret McCloud, Mildred Lyle, Mary Elizabeth Ghent, Gertrude Moore, Helen Briggs and Etta Helms.

Surviving are her children; Harry (Pat) Tracy, Jr. of Martins Ferry, Dona Jean (Butch)Jones of Manakin Sabot, VA, Joyce (Larry) Lewis of Steubenville, OH and Connie (Tom) Cottello of Bellaire, OH., eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Betty's family would like to thank the staff of the Country Club Retirement Center of Bellaire for their loving care of their Mother. Betty always told her family that they treated her like a Queen. Her favorite saying was "I'm going to live to be 100 or die trying".

Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Monday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. William O. Webster officiating. Burial follows in Weeks Cemetery, Bridgeport, OH
