Betty L. (Hill) Henry, 84, of Elm St., Martins Ferry, OH died Monday, Jan. 25, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born Sept. 5, 1925 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Ernest H. and Edna L. (Hendershot) Hill. Betty was retired from TCI Cable, Bridgeport, OH with thirty plus years of service as a manager. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harry R. "Bob" Henry in Jan. 2004, a sister Jean Hill Watson in 1953. Surviving are three children Robert E. Henry and his wife Carole of Wheeling, WV, Becky L. Baire and her husband Darrell of Martins Ferry, OH, and Barry Henry and his fiancé Katie of Martins Ferry, two brothers Ernie and Tom Hill, a sister Shirley Archer, five grandchildren Jeff and Jason Baire, Cara Ann, Christopher, and Courtney Henry, seven great grandchildren Trey, Brenden, Ethan, Emily, Alyssa, Kaleb, and Karlee Baire. There will be no visitation. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service, Friday, Jan. 29, 2010 at 1:00 pm with Minister Rod Kasler officiating at the First Christian Church, 710 S. Zane Hwy., Martins Ferry. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church, Martins Ferry. Arrangements by Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH.
