Betty E. Johnson 84 of West Wheeling, Ohio died Thursday April 19, 2012 at Heartland Lansing Nursing Home. She was born June 25, 1927 in Moundsville, WV, a daughter of the late Elmer and Leota Darrah Crane. She was a member of the Riverview Bible Church in West Wheeling, the Eagles Aux. and the American Legion Aux. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Herbert B. Johnson, two daughters Joyce Smith and Donna Jean Johnson, brothers Herman, Harold, and Calvin Crane, sisters Marie Chambers, and Pauline Heil. Betty is survived by two sons Kenneth (Marianne) Johnson of Herndon VA, and James Johnson of Bridgeport, a brother Rev. Paul (Bertha) Crane of Dillonvale, sister Dorothy (Bill) Pahl of Bridgeport, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a great great grandson. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Saturday April 21, 2012 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm.
