Betty I. Kucera 76 of Lansing, died June 14, 2011 surrounded by her loving family at Liza's Place Wheeling. She was born November 2, 1934 in Lansing, a daughter of the late James and Pauline Picetti Kucera. She was a retired employee of the former Clevite Industries Lansing, a member of the Lansing Methodist Church, the Former Bridgeport Eagles #995, and CSA Lodge. She loved to garden and her great nieces and nephews were her roses. Betty is survived by her loving brother Bob (Sallie) Kucera of Wheeling, two nephews Greg (Barbara) Kucera of Wheeling, and Doug (Tina) Kucera of Cape Coral FL, a niece Paula (Michael) Hajdukovich of Wheeling, her children who she loved and lived for are her great nieces and nephews Whitney Hajdukovich, Jimmy Kucera, Megan Hajdukovich, Matthew Kucera, George Kucera, and Natalie Kucera. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Thursday June 16, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, and then on Friday at the Lansing Methodist Church 55123 Greenbank Ave. Lansing from 10 till time of service at 11 am with Rev. Julianne Gebbie officiating interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove.
