Lanch, Betty J. 84 of Reservoir Road St. Clairsville formerly of Kirkwood Heights Bridgeport died Monday March 18, 2013 at Forest Hill Retirement Complex St. Clairsville. She was born May 29, 1928 in Bridgeport, a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Nellie J (Strawser) Bowers. She was a member of the Meadowbrook Church of God Rayland. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters Bertha McKnight, and Nellie Thompson, brothers Elmer and Isaac Thomas. Betty is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Francis "Frank" Lanch, son David (Debbie) Lanch of Martins Ferry, a daughter Tina Papp of New Philadelphia, a sister Dee (Paul) Kreiter of St. Clairsville, a niece Gail McLain of St. Clairsville, nine grandchildren: Courtney, Jennifer, Vinnie, Jason, Taelin, Elijah, Chance, Jeremy, and Kami, seven great grandchildren: Dawson, Douglas, Gabriel, Malcayla, Alexander, Johnathan, and Akira. Friends are invited to a celebration of Betty's life on Wednesday March 20, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside, and then of Thursday from 12 till time of service at 1 pm, with Rev. Marvin Schooler officiating, interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove.
