Betty Lou (Marr) Jones, 55, of Hughes Ave., Martins Ferry, OH died Fri., Feb. 2, 2007 at Ohio University Hospital, Columbus, OH. She was born Apr. 22, 1951 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Robert E. and Margaret (Weatherson) Marr. She was a former secretary for William L Thomas Law Firm, Martins Ferry, and also the former Hannen-Thomasetti Law Firm, Wheeling, WV. Betty Lou was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Martins Ferry, and the Yorkville V.F.W. Post #4811, and Past All State President for Colerain V.F.W. Post # 8848. Surviving are her husband William E. Jones, two daughters Mary Kay Jones of Bellaire, OH and Rhoda Cominsky and her husband Scott of Rayland, a sister Shirley Wines and her husband Chuck of Martins Ferry, and four grandchildren Cassandra Cominsky, Katilyn Rose Witzburger, Cortney "Corkey" Cominsky and Sierra Mae Cominsky. Friends will be received Sun. 6-8 PM and Mon., 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Tues., Feb. 6, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dr. Bill N. Lawrence officiating. Interment at the convenience of the family. Services will be held Sunday by the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. Post #4811 at 7 PM and the Deacons of the First Presbyterian Church at 7:30 PM both at the funeral home.
